Located by the longest uninterrupted sand stretch of Europe, surfing in Portugal is possible all year-round. Whether you are beginner or advanced, we organise surf lessons in several neighbouring beaches. If you love the ocean, our team also arranges private boat excursions to watch the dolphins or discover the sandbanks of Estuário do Sado. For simpler beach days, we guide you to the pristine shores of Melides or Comporta. We also supply beach equipment and our nomadic basket for you to enjoy Pa.te.os’ taste for a fine picnic.

About 5 minute-drive from the property, we invite you for an unforgettable horse ride. In a postcard landscape, horses take you from the lagoon through fine sand dunes and in the ocean. Away from mass tourism, we also recommend you some trekking paths for you to explore the raw beauty of Alentejo. Additionally, electric bikes are available on property to enjoy trail biking.

At Pa.te.os we produce our very own honey. Nestled among wild acres of land, our bees gather pollen from various native flowers to produce an aromatic honey. We welcome you to take part into the process of honey making and see how we rely on our bees to preserve Pa.te.os’ local biodiversity.
